Our Mission

Since we met the Ηorses of Ymittos, ossified, dehydrated and injured, we set the goal of doing our best to save these animals.

Our primary concern was and remains to provide water, food and medical care to these horses.

Having completed the complete registration of horses located in the area and based on their well-being, we decided to proceed to sterilization (surgical castration) of male horses, in order to limit the further increase of their population (especially under the conditions under which it is done: boned mares that are pregnant still breastfeed the foals of the previous one, small and weak foals born from continuous inbreeding). For this difficult task of sterilization, after a lot of struggle we managed to secure the financial contribution of the Region of East Attica, where by contract signed on 14/11/23, we were assigned to complete the sterilization process.

At the same time, from the very beginning of our activities, actions are carried out (cleaning, treatments, creating of safe fences) in the places where the horses temporarily live, in order to keep them in as suitable and safer conditions as possible.
